Project Discription

There are several advantages of ordering food online. One of the major ones is the capability of the user to eat his favorite food without the need to step out of the door. Other advantages of such a delivery system are that they offer several discounts and offers from time to time to attract customers. A good online ordering system software should be easy to use and must be efficient in performing payment transactions along with security.

At User:

At first, you can log in to this online portal by entering your email id and password. In case you are not a member of this site you can register with the site by entering your username, password, name, and email id. After logging in as a user you can now see the various options on your left-hand side such as 

• Order food
• Feedback
• My cart
• Edit details

While on the right hand of the screen you will see beautiful photos of food along with the price and add to cart options. So finally you can fill the cart with the food that you would like to order. You can even remove the food products from your cart and after finalizing your order you can view your entire bill and opt for pay. On the payment page, you have to fill up the address and the payment mode that is either pay at delivery or pay online. Finally, your desired food will be delivered to your home. You can also see the order history on your profile.

At Admin:

At the admin level, you can view, update, and delete the food items from the software and these options will be provided to you on the right side after you have logged in as an admin. You can see the following options on the left side such as-

Food menu

Orders

All feedback

Users

 For adding any new item you have to add the following credentials-

Item id

Name

Item Price

Availability

Image

You can also visit the order section where you can browse through the status of orders given to you by users and their status such as yet to be delivered, paused, canceled by the customer, etc. These data can be updated by you. In the feedback section, you can see the reviews of the food that you have delivered. The software has excellent navigating properties and is easy to use.
