Ensure food is prepared and presented in an appealing and timely manner. Monitor food stock and place orders to maintain inventory levels. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service. Develop and test new recipes to enhance the menu (if applicable). Manage portion sizes and minimize waste. Handle special dietary requests or allergies with care and accuracy. Adhere to restaurant policies and safety standards.
