This news portal project is developed in php. This can be useful for news agencies, students and any individual or people who are looking for a database project.

On the homepage of this website one can see the latest news in various categories like sports, entertainment, politics, business, nature etc., popular news and recent news separately.

This project is basically divided into two modules. One for users and other for admins. They are discussed in the next segment given below :

For Users

• One can Search news.
• Find category wise news with various sub categories.
• Can See recent news.
• Can See popular news.
• Find contact details etc

For Admins

• Secure login system.
• Get a dashboard in which categories, sub categories, live news and trash news are distinguished.
• Can add and manage sub admins by adding or deleting them.
• Can add new categories like books, with short descriptions.
• Can add sub categories in for detailed news.
• Post news – can add new posts and manage them whether to keep or move in trash.
• Can manage ‘about us’ and ‘contact us’ pages by using the pages option from the dashboard.
•  can manage comments on a portal by approval, disapproval or deleting comments.
•  Can change password conveniently.
• Can make updates in profile whenever he wants.
