Advanced Alumni Portal - Overview and Features
The Advanced Alumni Portal is a comprehensive platform designed to facilitate connections and interactions among alumni, current students, and the institution. It features different roles: Admin, Sub-admin, and Users (students and alumni). Each role has specific privileges and functionalities to ensure effective management and engagement within the portal.
Overview of Features
The system includes the following capabilities:
- Admin can manage users, content, and sub-admins, and view weekly registration reports.
- Sub-admin has similar privileges as Admin, except for managing newly registered users.
- Users can manage their profiles, connect with others, and contribute content such as blogs, projects, and opportunities.
Privileges by Role
Admin
- View all users and filter based on different parameters
- Accept or reject newly registered users
- Approve or reject blogs added by users
- Add blogs, projects, opportunities, and contact responses
- Create sub-admins
- View weekly registered users report in the form of a graph
Sub-admin
- View all users and filter based on different parameters
- Approve or reject blogs added by users
- Add blogs, projects, opportunities, and contact responses
- Note: Sub-admins cannot accept/reject newly registered users
Users (Students and Alumni)
- Fill and update their profile
- Connect with other users, similar to LinkedIn
- See recommendations for connections and opportunities
- Post blogs, projects, and opportunities
- Edit and view their posted content
- View all blogs, projects, and opportunities with dynamic filtering and search capabilities
